A:
Yes. Some factors which may contribute
to a denial include:

begin until all confinement and probation has been completed and fines are
paid.

convictions exist
- A previous
expungement exist

Q:
How long does the process take?
A:
There is no set time frame so each petition will be treated on a
case by case basis; however, if there are no objections to your expungement
petition and you are forthright with your information, an expungement order
may be granted within a matter of a few months.

Q:
What is the effect of the expungement?
A:
For many purposes, the conviction is treated as if it did not happen, but
records are not destroyed, only isolated, and may play a role in certain
limited future court proceedings, for example, setting bail or imposing
sentence, etc.
